IMPORTANT
Some travel insurance
claims are not paid out because 'at the time the policy was
taken out' information, such as a medical condition or some
family/business circumstances were not supplied to the insurance company.
The irony is that in many of those cases, had the information been
given, the insurance premium would have remained the same.
The most common circumstances that negate a claim, OMITTING TO INFORM
INSURERS OF
• Any medical condition or circumstance that
is or has been affecting the insured, including pregnancy.
• Any medical condition or circumstance that
is or has been affecting any relative or business associate on whom
the travel plans depend.
• A terminal prognosis.
• The advise of a Medical Practitioner NOT to
travel.
