Valkenburg and Aachen
Two great markets visited on one trip. Using the Hull/Rotterdam crossing, you'll be based in Valkenburg where the market is held in the illuminated Marlstone Caves, try not to spend to much time at the gluhwein stands. A short trip across the German border takes you to Aachen where another famous Christmas Market is held.

Details & itinerary

5days/4nts. 2nts onboad ship in en-suite cabin and 2nts B&B in Valkenburg at a popular 3* hotel.

Day 1 - Friday morning - Depart from a 'local pickup point' and travel east to Hull, boarding the 2100hrs P&O Ferries sailing to Rotterdam, taking occupancy of your en-suite cabin. Free to enjoy the evenings onboard facilities. Why not take advantage of our MealDeal.

Day 2 - Watch the ship docking as you enjoy a hearty breakfast. Disembark Rotterdam at approx 0830hrs and travel onto Valkenburg. After some time to settle into your room our coach departs for the illuminated Marlstone Caves where the famous christmas market is held.

Day 3 - After breakfast you'll have the opportunity to take the short journey to Aachen in Germany and explore the christmas market or the city.

Day 4 - At leisure in Valkenburg before departing for Rotterdam, arriving in time for the 2100hrs P&O Ferries sailing to Hull, taking occupancy of your en-suite cabin. Free to enjoy the evenings onboard facilities.

Day 5 - Watch the ship docking as you enjoy a hearty breakfast. Disembark Hull at 0800hrs, taking a leisurely drive back home, arriving before noon.
